about

Being a child of the fifties, I grew up with the Beatles and all the rest of that wonderful world of emerging 'pop' music. As a teenager I tried my hand at being in a band and even after my teens, I continued writing music purely for myself. With the advent of synths and all things electronic, I became obsessed with the technical side of music and, using tape decks to multitrack sounds, I tried to recreate the music I was hearing on the radio. Later on it was using computers yet it is only now that when I have reached my mid-sixties, that I have had the time to reflect on the music I wrote all those years ago and recreate it using all the wonderful electronic musical tools available today.
Yesterdays takes some of that music and re-engineers it to a standard that may not be brilliant by today's standards but is of a standard that I could only have dreamt of back then. Hopefully now that this is out of my system I can move on and begin to write more adventurous music.

Although not a skilled musician, I have such wonderful tools available to me that nowadays this is no longer a hindrance to producing my music.
